A spacious and clean room, with a massive bathroom and walk-in shower. Charming staff and a well-maintained buffet breakfast with a reasonable price. Convenient location near an S-bahn station for easy access to downtown. Free tea and coffee all day, good Wi-Fi, and a large safe for belongings.
Nothing, all was good.

It is a good hotel at the outskirt of the Munich city.
It was expensive (because of the october fest?).

I had an really good stay at this family-run hotel just outside of Munich. The room was in top condition, and it seemed like it had just been painted. The small playground outside made it a perfect place for families. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions politely and with enough information. The location, although a little far from the center of Munich, turned out to be a nice and quiet place to relax and sleep. The nearest train station was in Zone 1, making it convenient and affordable to travel around. The free Wi-Fi worked well, and the hotel was spotlessly clean. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Munich.

Free parking
Was charged 9 euro's for breakfast which included one bite of a piece of bread. You had to be in by 11pm in order to get the key Not close to a subway stop, everything around the hotel closes really early

I recently stayed at a cozy hotel in a calm area, away from the noisy city. The hotel's location in a village-like area was a nice reprieve and allowed for a peaceful stay. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, they were attentive to detail and ensured that everything was in tip-top shape. The rooms were modern and clean, with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast offered, which included free coffee and tea. I especially enjoyed the option to have eggs cooked to order, making it a great start to the day. The prices were also very reasonable, offering great value for money.
Nothing to complaint about, everything was just perfect!

friendly staff; pleasant furniture; comfortable bed; good internet connection; convenient parking in the yard
noisy (because of closeness to signaled crossing); odor nuisance (perhaps, coming from the nearest fields); too small bathroom for such large comfortable room; absence of air-conditioner and mini-refrigerator

We arrived in Munich for 2 days of Oktoberfest. the Hotel Grunwald is in a beautiful location.....close enough to the Centre by S-bahn but far enough away for Peace and Quiet. Beautiful cafes, Restaurants, and bakeries all near to hotel. The Hotel itself is beautiful. Clean, quiet and very "Bavarian". The decor is gorgeous. The staff and management were amazing. So friendly and kind. Would stay here again and again on every trip to Munich. Thank you so much to all at Hotel Grunwald for making our stay so enjoyable.
Everything was just perfect. Not a single complaint!

Great value and peaceful location! The hotel was situated in a charming area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Although it needed a brief train ride to reach the heart of the action, the peaceful surroundings more than made up for it. The staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating, ensuring that all of our needs were met. the room was spacious and clean, with all of the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
None! It was a wonderful and relaxing experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel offered everything we needed for an unforgettable city break, from a welcoming atmosphere to convenient transport links.

The staff was excellent, always friendly and helpful, providing us with directions and local travel information. The cleanliness of the hotel was really good; the rooms were spacious and well-kept. The location was in a quiet neighborhood with some eating options and parking was plentiful. The transportation was convenient, with a short walk to the train stop and a 20-minute ride to the major sights. The breakfast was amazing with a fantastic bakery across the street.
Everything was fantastic.

The staff have been very helpful and friendly, the room was very clean and tidy all the time.
Although we complained about the room being very cold, nothing has been done. During our stay, the room temperature was around 15 degrees although we used the heating unit in the room.
